Saghmosavank ("monastery of the Psalms") is a 13th-century Armenian monastic complex located in the village of Saghmosavan in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia.

Amberd fortress was founded in the 7th century A.D. during the rule of the Kamsarakan princes.Apart from portions of walls, towers and the church, there are the ruins of a bathhouse and parts of a secret passage and a water-supply system that can be seen.

Karmravor Church is one of the most charming churches of Armenia. It is located in not too far from the town of Ashtarak, Aragatsotn region. The construction of the church took place in the 7th century and was initiated by priests Manas and Gregory.

Oshakan (3783 v), is most famous as the last resting place of Mesrop Mashtots, (d 442) founder of the Armenian alphabet. Above his grave (19th c. gravestone) is a church rebuilt by Katholikos George IV in 1875.
