Alphabet Alley

In the village of Artashavan, on the eastern slope of Mount Aragats, there is a monument to the Armenian alphabet. This monument was erected in 2005 in honor of the 1600th anniversary of the creation of the Armenian alphabet. The idea and design of the monument belong to the architect Jim Torosyan. The monument itself is a composition of 39 painted letters of the alphabet.
